Southern Home Historic Marietta home 

We start our southern home tour in beautiful Marietta, GA.  Like many Marietta homes the Historic James T. Anderson House goes all out for the 4th! We love the classical details on this home - ionic columns, dental molding and that gorgeous wrap around porch!One thing that is consistent about southern homes is their beautiful front porches. We love the details on this one.

Thinking of downsizing? With its' simple design, white exterior, black front door and window boxes, this cozy cottage style home packs a lot of punch! No matter the size, Charleston homes never lack charm!

We go from small to very large on our southern home tour. Built in 1928, the Swan House mansion boasts classical architectural details with cascading fountains and curved staircases leading to the back of the home.

Another example of a new farmhouse style home is this one located in the downtown area of Alpharetta. We are seeing lots of white painted brick, courtyards, and beautiful architectural details!

Downtown Woodstock has been growing at a rapid pace and charming new cottage style homes are popping up everywhere!

Finishing up our Southern Home Tour in Downtown Woodstock is this sweet coastal blue home. We love the cedar shakes, window boxes with bright pink flowers and the detail on the front porch railings.
