Johns Creek

Formed in 2006, the city of Johns Creek is consistently ranked nationally in the top ten and twenty of most desirable categories. Money Magazine has it as the 13th highest earning city in the US and it's regularly found in the top ten places to live as ranked by Time, US News and World Report and others. Johns Creek and neighboring Alpharetta are in the top areas in the State of Georgia in many important categories: median household income, education levels (college and advanced degrees) and home ownership. Technology resides here as do many medical facilities and research firms. Housing is a mix of first time, move up and executive communities. There are county club communities that host PGA golf tournaments. Recreational opportunities abound as the Chattahoochee River forms the east boundary. National parks, trails, and river related endeavors are easy to find. Just to the north is Lake Lanier and the North Georgia Mountains, to the west is Avalon, North Point Mall and more shopping and dining than one can imagine. Johns Creek continues to be recognized both nationally and locally as a great place to live.
